Named "Ozone Park" to lure buyers with the idea of refreshing breezes blowing in from the Atlantic Ocean to a park-like community, Ozone Park is mainly composed of detached and semidetached one- and-two-family homes. In its south western portion you will find Tudor Village, but if you want a more modern feel there is Magnolia Court, an upscale gated townhouse condominium complex built in 2003. Ozone Park is famous for horseracing; it was once home to Centerville Race Track, the first racetrack in Queens. Today it no longer exists but residents attend the "Big A", Aqueduct Racetrack which lies on the border between Ozone Park and South Ozone Park.
